“Two brand worlds that retain their own identity – yet come together in conversation within one exhibition stand.”
Projectmanagement: Alexander Frohnert, Managing Director
Carambar & Co. brings together numerous well-known confectionery brands under one roof – including Lutti and Terry’s, two brand worlds that could hardly be more different. While Lutti stands for colourful, sour and playful sweets, Terry’s is all about the iconic Chocolate Orange, presented through a premium and elegant brand identity.
For ISM Cologne 2026, our task was therefore to bring these two very different characters to life within one large shared exhibition space – clearly distinguishable from one another, yet united as one coherent trade fair presence for Carambar & Co.

Visible from afar, a large suspended brand structure running around the stand provided clear orientation and maximum visibility. Large-scale illuminated 3D logos made both Lutti and Terry’s recognisable well beyond the stand itself and naturally guided visitors into the two different brand worlds.
On the Terry’s side, the look was premium, dark blue and elegant. The iconic Chocolate Orange itself became a key design element: oversized spheres floated above the stand, while several Chocolate Oranges were stacked into an impressive product tower at the entrance. The distinctive spherical shape has been central to the brand for decades and was therefore consistently translated into the spatial design.
Lutti, on the other hand, was allowed to be loud. Bright yellow, pink and bold graphics created a completely different atmosphere. Life-size characters from the Lutti world became selfie spots, ensuring that the brand was not only seen, but experienced first-hand. A presentation perfectly suited to a brand whose sour and playful products such as Bubblizz, Surffizz and Scoubidou stand for colour and fun.
Special attention was also paid to product presentation. High-quality illuminated display cases with glass fronts were integrated into the walls, showcasing the individual products in a targeted and premium way while becoming a design feature of the stand in their own right. Large LED surfaces – featuring unusual circular cut-outs – added further movement to the two brand worlds and ensured that there was always something happening across the stand.
Both brands were also carefully considered from a functional perspective. Two enclosed meeting rooms were created on each side for confidential customer meetings. Between them, an open meeting area connected the two worlds. The space was complemented by a central reception counter and – since this was ISM, after all – of course, a candy bar.
The flooring further supported the zoning of the space, making it immediately clear where one brand world ended and the other began. At the same time, a changing lighting concept continuously gave both areas a fresh appearance and kept the entire stand lively and dynamic.
